West London history at the Linford Christie Stadium

🏃 Hammersmith and Fulham Weekly Track Competitive Marathon training

One of London's storied old clubs, based at Wormwood Scrubs, turning out athletes across track, field, road and cross country.

We train at the Linford Christie Stadium on the Scrubs, with proper coaching for everyone from beginners to international standard. A proud heritage, a strong competitive record, and - despite all that - a genuinely welcoming community.

If you're a West London runner who wants a traditional club with real history and facilities, you'll feel right at home.

Real stories of people who found their people in London.

Bridget Lawson · 18 June 2026 I look after my mum full time. A Saturday walk is the one hour that's mine. Caring for someone you love can quietly erase you. This is about the morning I started walking with a group of strangers, and how one hour a week gave me back to myself. Hannah Cole · 3 June 2026 I moved to London for the job. The loneliness nearly sent me home. Arriving in a city of nine million people and feeling invisible - and the ordinary Tuesday evening that slowly changed everything. Stephen Pryce · 11 June 2026 I couldn't remember the last time I'd made a new friend. Then I made one at 41. My friendships had quietly thinned out over a decade, and I'd stopped believing new ones were still possible at my age. A weekly board game night proved me wrong.
