Relaxed about most things, serious about Wednesdays

🏃 Southwark Weekly - Wednesdays Social Competitive

We're a long-running, sociable crowd centred on Dulwich - pretty laid-back, but we do love a Wednesday evening run and a decent fixture list.

Those Wednesday club runs go from Dulwich, with track and a few extra sessions scattered through the week. Social joggers and club racers both fit in here, and we field teams across the road and cross country leagues. There's usually a drink afterwards.

Easiest way to meet us is just to show up on a Wednesday. We'll sort you out.

Real stories of people who found their people in London.

Bridget Lawson · 18 June 2026 I look after my mum full time. A Saturday walk is the one hour that's mine. Caring for someone you love can quietly erase you. This is about the morning I started walking with a group of strangers, and how one hour a week gave me back to myself. Hannah Cole · 3 June 2026 I moved to London for the job. The loneliness nearly sent me home. Arriving in a city of nine million people and feeling invisible - and the ordinary Tuesday evening that slowly changed everything. Stephen Pryce · 11 June 2026 I couldn't remember the last time I'd made a new friend. Then I made one at 41. My friendships had quietly thinned out over a decade, and I'd stopped believing new ones were still possible at my age. A weekly board game night proved me wrong.
