Founded in 1936, we are one of the country's most active environmental and amenity societies, dedicated to protecting Enfield's beautiful Green Belt, architectural heritage, and open spaces. We run an extensive, free programme of guided footpath walks led by knowledgeable volunteers, exploring Enfield's countryside, historic parks, and quiet river loops. Our walks are highly accessible, sociable, and suitable for all fitness levels.
