Formed in 1885 as part of the Regent Street Polytechnic, we are one of the oldest and most established walking clubs in the country2. We are a friendly, independent rambling group welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, and walking abilities5. We organize a varied, year-round programme of Saturday day walks, weekend trips away, and lively social events, always using public transport from London2. Our routes cover beautiful countryside in Surrey, Kent, Sussex, and Buckinghamshire, offering great exercise and wonderful companionship in equal measure2."
