Connecting Black & Brown people with nature
Moja Collective connects Black and Brown people with nature and each other through friendly group walks. Since its first walk in January 2024 it has grown into a monthly programme, often heading out to the North Downs, Surrey and Kent - typically around 40 minutes from London by train - with collaborations including YHA and the Lake District Foundation.
It's a welcoming, community-minded space for people of colour to enjoy the outdoors together, whatever your experience level. Walks and events are shared primarily through their Instagram, where you can find the next meetup and join in.
If you've wanted to explore the countryside but craved a group where you feel seen and at home, this warm collective is a wonderful place to start.
