Surrey-area Ramblers walking from Kingston

🥾 Kingston upon Thames Regular led walks across the week Social Day trips Beginner-friendly

Kingston Ramblers are part of the Surrey Area of the Ramblers, offering a friendly and varied programme of led walks in and around Kingston upon Thames and out into the wider Surrey countryside. With routes ranging from gentle local walks to longer day hikes, and walks organised around public transport where possible, there's something to suit all tastes and abilities.

As with every Ramblers group, you can join two or three walks to try it out before becoming a member, after which you can walk with any group nationwide. It's a sociable, welcoming way to explore the Thames-side parks, Surrey Hills and beyond, and to meet like-minded people locally.

Real stories of people who found their people in London.

Stephen Pryce · 11 June 2026 I couldn't remember the last time I'd made a new friend. Then I made one at 41. My friendships had quietly thinned out over a decade, and I'd stopped believing new ones were still possible at my age. A weekly board game night proved me wrong. Hannah Cole · 3 June 2026 I moved to London for the job. The loneliness nearly sent me home. Arriving in a city of nine million people and feeling invisible - and the ordinary Tuesday evening that slowly changed everything. Rachel Okafor · 15 June 2026 I was someone's mum from 6am to midnight. A book club gave me back two hours that were mine. After my son was born I disappeared into being his mother. The thing that brought me back wasn't a spa day or a grand gesture. It was a paperback and a room full of women.
