Varied West London walks into the Chilterns
Hillingdon Ramblers are a friendly group from many walks of life who share a love of the countryside, and their location on the west side of London makes for especially varied walking. Gentle, relaxed morning walks of 3–4 miles (often from a Metropolitan line station, no stiles) are perfect for beginners, while Tuesday morning and Saturday afternoon walks of 5–7 miles are a little more demanding.
Sunday and the very popular Wednesday walks head further afield - usually 10–14 miles at a moderate pace with a picnic lunch, often exploring the beautiful Chilterns. There are also trips to the Surrey Hills and elsewhere in Greater London.
All walks are free to try, and you'll get a very warm welcome.
