Inner London Ramblers walks around Hampstead

🥾 Camden Regular led walks; see programme Social Day trips Beginner-friendly

One of the Inner London Ramblers' local groups, Hampstead & District offers a friendly programme of led walks both in town and out into the countryside around London. As part of the Ramblers, walks are guided by experienced volunteers, suit a range of abilities and are a relaxed way to meet like-minded people while getting outdoors in nature.

You're welcome to come along and try a few walks before deciding to join, and there's a sociable side alongside the walking. Whether you fancy a green walk through North London's heaths and parks or a day trip further afield by public transport, this is an easy, welcoming group to ease into.

Marcus Bennett · 9 June 2026 I can't do small talk. At a board game night, I finally didn't have to. Parties, pubs, the dreaded "so what do you do?" - I'd given up on meeting people. Then I sat down at a board game night and the talking just happened sideways. Arjun Mehta · 13 June 2026 I optimised my whole life in London. Except the part that actually mattered. I moved here for a brilliant engineering job and built a life so efficient I barely had to speak to anyone. It worked perfectly, right up until it didn't. A running club fixed what I couldn't.
