Walking and cycling club for Londoners since 1937
Founded in 1937, CLOG is a friendly, non-profit group for Londoners who love walking and cycling, with around 300 members and four to eight events every week. Adults of any age over 18 are welcome; most members are currently over 40.
All-day weekend walks start from tube or train stations and range from hilly hikes in the Chilterns, North Downs or South Downs to gentler woodland, riverside and coastal walks of 8 to 15 miles. Shorter evening strolls of up to five miles explore Hampstead Heath, Richmond Park and the city's green spaces in spring and summer - a great place to start if you haven't walked much before.
There's a busy social programme and trips away, and you can try three events before joining for just £10.
