Page Turners Twickenham Library Group

A weekly morning sanctuary for avid readers to connect

📚 Richmond upon Thames Weekly - Mondays Beginner-friendly Social Fiction Non-fiction

Keen for a regular, weekly bookish escape to start your week? Page Turners meets at Twickenham Library every Monday morning from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Unlike traditional monthly clubs, our weekly sessions are incredibly relaxed and fluid. We gather to discuss our current personal reads, share recommendations, and read together in friendly company. It is a warm, supportive morning sanctuary that is perfect for retirees, remote workers, or anyone looking to build deep, lasting connections over a shared love of storytelling. Pop in and say hello!

Real stories of people who found their people in London.

Liam Carver · 17 June 2026 Burnout took me apart. A beginner running club is how I put myself back together. I pushed myself until I broke, then sat at home ashamed and flat. Learning to run slowly, with no one keeping score, taught me that showing up gently beats winning. Bridget Lawson · 18 June 2026 I look after my mum full time. A Saturday walk is the one hour that's mine. Caring for someone you love can quietly erase you. This is about the morning I started walking with a group of strangers, and how one hour a week gave me back to myself. Arjun Mehta · 13 June 2026 I optimised my whole life in London. Except the part that actually mattered. I moved here for a brilliant engineering job and built a life so efficient I barely had to speak to anyone. It worked perfectly, right up until it didn't. A running club fixed what I couldn't.
